Buttercup's New Haircut

I was feeling a little bold one day last week.
I sat my four year old down on our swively island stool.
Took a pair of scissors and cut off her beautiful longish hair!

I've cut Cricket's hair.
I've cut Pattycake's hair.
But Buttercup's was always off limits to me.
She has STICK STRAIGHT hair.
I was so afraid of messing it up!
It's not as angled as I'd like it to be, but she looks so cute!

After I was finished, Buttercup stood in front of a mirror and proclaimed...

"I look sooooo pretty!"

That's success right there.

  1. I am not brave enough to cut Hannah's hair. My SIL cuts hair, and she gave Hannah a trim back in December. That was her first haircut. She cries when I buzz the boys hair and I don't do hers. I think she would look adorable with a bob, but I don't have the guts to do it. :)

Your did a great job on Buttercup's hair. It looks adorable. I can see why she feels pretty. :)

  5. I'm not that brave AT ALL. I am scared to death to touch either kids' heads with scissors. Buttercup looks like a buttercup! :)
